4H and FFA members, along with their families, spend the best days of the summer at the Des Moines County Fair in beautiful Des Moines County, Iowa where fertile farmland borders the Mighty Mississippi River.
The Best Days of the Summer are Spent at the Des Moines County Fair.
Thanks to all who worked hard to make July 24th-July 30th, 2013 a very memorable fair. Fair board members, committe members, Extension personnel, 4H leaders, and countless other volunteers worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that everything went smoothly and successfully.
Plus, we had unseasonably cool weather to make the whole fair experience just that much more enjoyable. Some much needed rain on the last day of the fair was a nice touch too. It made getting all the campers out a little more interesting, but it all went well.
Now that another successful fair has come and gone, we’ll soon review this past fair in search of areas to make improvements. Then we’ll get busy working hard to make the 2014 Des Moines County Fair an even better experience!
Watch the countdown as we wait in anticipation for another delightful Des Moines County Fair.
